Supporters Group News New Group Statement 28/02/23

Wouldn't believe a word Ron says now. Would do his usual ...tell them what they want to hear and then do what's best for him.Sorry to say I feel we are on a verge of a Bury.
The withholding ST money is the only strong card supporters have left and I wouldn't trust his answers.
Only hearing our situation face to face from TL the council and maybe a couple of other sources would give me the confidence we are going to survive in our current form.
Nope. We can refuse to speak to anyone but him. He's the owner, he's at the top responsible for every decision. He was responsible before TL came to do his dirty work and he's responsible still.

He'll throw TL under the bus. He may well sell nothing but BS, but at least it continues to put pressure on him.

A significant pledge to not renew season cards until the embargo is lifted makes sense. In any case why would we want to continue to watch the miserable , torturous and sustained death of our side from a season long embargo, let alone the most appalling way to treat fans of practically any football club
Not quite the vision Stan had in mind
What happened to the all debts to be cleared and on going capital and recapitalisation plan

This is pointless! Ron will run the club the same way he has been doing for the last 20 years until Fossetts is developed! Nothing else to say and not worth the time worrying about it.
And that's why he gets away with it .... yes he may well do. But don't you think we deserve answers? Or do you feel the same as Ron? We should be silent and grateful?

That was talked about and The Trust are waiting for ALL staff to be paid in full before talking to Tom again about repayment now monies are in.
I thought the money was loaned so that the staff could be paid, or was it just to tied them over?

For me, it would need to go further than just Ron’s words. I’ll only even think about renewing now if I see actual action from Ron, not just words.

For far too many years now we have just been led up the garden path and lied to time and time again.

Until I see the club being run in the correct way, staff and players being paid, no more embargo’s and winding up petitions and a club that players will actually want to join instead of leave, then I won’t be renewing our season cards

The loan was to go towards staff wages - it didn't cover all wages at the time or since.

I think the trust has put out a statement saying theyre not going to push for repayment until staff are paid all wages

Ron predicts us all the time. We know when he'll be asking for our money .. let's predict him and use it to our advantage for once. Why should he hold all the cards all the time?

Possibly because he or one of his acolytes reads through forums/social media such as this one to gauge the mood and see what's being planned/organised/suggested. That's why he'll always be ahead of the curve and will be so until such things are moved 'underground' so to speak.

Despite all the tripe he's espoused in the past to pacify (insult ?) the supporter base, he'll be sticking to his agenda at any cost and without conscience.

The day when he (and his family connections) depart the club simply cannot come soon enough....

The Trust money was loaned to help with October & November wages I believe. Same goes for the gofundme donations also.

I believe the Trust won't be asking for the loan back until all staff are paid what is still outstanding, which I believe is 1 months salary for most of the office staff. Absolutely the right decision IMO.

I take it staff still unpaid? Regards to boycotting/non renewal of season tickets, as much as fans don't want to miss watching their football team it is the next step to show ron your not welcome! Fans have to take the lead, shrimper trust would also have to back this. Football clubs are the fans especially at this level. Unfortunately if you keep spending your hard earned money on tickets for home games it does send that message out that everything is fine carrying on what your doing ron. Im sure protests will ramp up again in the near future with play off dreams now fading.

Look where we are now guys...... national League, struggling to pay players/staff. Its shameful and embarrassing!

If the reason for the embargo includes non payment of football debts as well as HMRC, then I believe non payment of staff is classed as one of those football debts? If so hopefully clearing the embargo also means staff have been paid.

The reason the embargo might be taking a little longer in our case is probably its not for just failing to pay HMRC- we have a few other misdemeanours to correct (and show we have done so)...regrettably...

Blackpool’s boycott worked and was spearheaded by their Trust with the Trust chair being the main spokesperson for the boycotts as per this article below.

They now have an owner they love, are in the Championship and averaging crowds of over 12,000.

Blackpool's situation was very different. Their owner was allegedly pocketing the rich proceeds of the club's rise to the Premier League and leaving the team starved of investment.

We don't have any money and Ron isn't pocketing anything, the biggest issue is he doesn't have enough money to keep the club going.

I didn’t say that the situation was the same.

However if Ron can’t afford to run the club any longer but is running it into the ground just so he can make his millions at the end game at the expense of the football club then you could make comparisons between the two very rogue owners of Ron and the previous Blackpool owner.

We have clearly seen no matter what crowds we get has made very little to our finances with continued winding up orders and staff and players going unpaid.

For me the time has come now to try more drastic action and hit Ron hard as this just can’t continue any longer.

Things will get worse!

Exactly this. That's why he should relinquish the club to new owners who can afford to run it ....
