We are 'The Shrimpers"!!! The generic 'The Blues' nickname has done my head in for close to a decade now!

Agree 100% Ayrshire, I too dislike seeing directional road signs and hear a local radio station referring to us as 'The Blues'.

The 'Blues' irritates me as well. I swear BBC Essex have been banned from using 'Shrimpers'.

I adore the Rossi sponsored mock-up a few pages back - match made in heaven. It's a bit of a wonder why this has never happened actually? Really don't like the Gold and Black away kits...but it is a small improvement over last years away top, which looked liked a quickly cobbled together afterthought. Will we get a 'coloured-in' club crest??? No, didn't think so.
