New shirt?

Does anyone know whether we'll be keeping the current home kit for next season?

I'm sure this has been mentioned on here and the general concensus was that the kit was being kept on for next year but with a sponsor on the back of the shirt.

Can I please appeal to anybody from the club reading this!!!!
When we have our bigweekends.com logo on next season's shirt can it please be BELOW the players number. Whether or not it was just the LDV special shirt & the white shoulders but it looked awful at Cardiff. I was looking on Football League Review last night as to where the majority of teams have their's and they are indeed below the number e.g. Brentford, Chesterfield, Barnsley.

It looked daft because the logo was white and cluttered whilst our numbers are obviously white. The 'Muddyfox' logo wasn't too bad because at least that was yellow and there was a clear difference between the two.

The numbers in the Football League next season will be Silver and Gold.

Its much more visable at the top of the shirt though, and would it become obstructed if players tucked their shirts in?!

Not necessarily.
The teams I mentioned above, you could still clearly see the sponsors logo on their backs, shirts in or out!

Hmmm, gold or silver numbers. Interesting but why??
Doesn't really affect our kits/colours but how stupid is a yellow & green Norwich shirt or a red & white striped Brentford shirt going to look with a gold or silver number.

Oh, the commercialisation of football, you've got to love it, NOT!!!

Just a thought. It's our centenery next season- would that mean a commemorative new shirt?

Although, hopefully the next one won't be the shoddiest kit I've ever bought! Most people I know who are't SUFC fans assume it's a kit from the eighties.

Yeah. Or they'll keep the shirt we have until December then bring out a new one in December just in time for Christmas and 2006.

But our club crest has changed from white and blue to silver and blue anyway so it will suit our shirt!

Perhaps you would rather pay £25 for a home match then?

Does any body know if the club shirt will have any 2xl shirts in stock by the time of the Yeovil game, I wanted a current shirtfor Cardiff. But they didn't have one so I had to wear the 2000-01 shirt, with the shrimpers embroided above the badge

As far as I know it hasn't been decided yet as to whether there will be a completely new kit next year, but I wouldn't put any money on it staying the same as this season's!
