I'd imagine it isn't as easy as this (because nothing with ifollow seems to be simple) but surely if you let them know you are unable to watch when the rearranged fixture was they should give you a refund instead?

Exactly ! They could have given the club a heads up in the morning that it was touch and go and that there would be a later inspection. Would have saved Mr Phillips his Toll money.
