Over the years we've heard on many occasions that one of our youngsters is gonna be the next big thing --- maybe even scouted by Premier clubs ....only to dissappear from view + end up playing non league....

I'll start off with James Lawson .........

( scored with his 1st touch on his Blues debut, played v Man U .... then drifted off to Chelmsford city + Concord )

I randomly went to a game in the early 90s, Peterborough v Birmingham. Peterborough had this winger who tore Birmingham apart. At the time we had Ricky Otto doing the same for us, but this guy. He was better.

So, you can imagine my delight that when Otto went, we replaced him with this Peterborough winger. He surely was the next big thing. The next terrace favourite. The next to terrorise defenders at Roots Hall.

Sadly, he was Dominic Iorfa..........
