Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 January - Engineering work between Fenchurch Street and Barking

A revised c2c service will be in operation with all services diverted to run to/from Liverpool Street, calling at Stratford. Fenchurch Street station will be closed and no c2c services will operate from Limehouse or West Ham.

On Saturday, Fenchurch Street to Southend Central via Ockendon services are withdrawn and a shuttle rail service will operate between Upminster and Grays only.

could cause some right trouble on the day that, right after the game as well, will be mayhem for millwall fans to get to the station after.

Not really. They just have to go from Prittlewell to Stratford, and then the Jubilee line down to Bermondsey. Reverse to get here. They need to avoid C2C.

I am fairly certain that the Millwall "chaps" (Millwall lingo apparently) will be able to navigate their way to Southend!

I realise that 'no one likes them' , but now even the rail companies are joining in.
