Did anyone else think the floodlights today were an embarrassment? They reminded me of the ones at Canvey. When the ball goes too high you could hardly see it.

Infact the ground as a whole has a non-league feel to it. The only good thing is that it's infinitely better than their old ground!

I was hoping they would put another 50p in the meter!

Dim as a contestant on "Glitterball".

Because of the concrete breeze block stands too it became pretty cold when the sun went it!

Yes our ground is crap.We want to redevelop it but the council won't let us

To be fair mate, although it leaves much to be desired I wouldn't describe your ground as "Crap". I've been to much much worse and I'd sooner go to Sixfields than say Kenilworth road or Brisbane road (or indeed Layer road).
I can see why you'd want to redevelop it and I imagine you want to up the capacity too, but where are all those extra cars going to go if you do? With 10, 12 or 15 thousand there it'll take even longer get out of the sodding car park and onto the motorway!

I wouldn't say it was crap, just that it is cheap looking. It would also really benefit from having the corners closed in because its impossible to build any kind of atmosphere when any noise is lost to the outside world.

I assume you lot were singing all the way through the match, but we hardly heard a peep out of you.

Did you just put 'atmosphere' and 'sixfields' in the same sentence?

i thought the location of the stadium pretty good. liked to fact that the stadiun but in like a bowl like structure. but it was too open and were huge gaps everywhere. if it gets the go-ahead to get re-developed then it could be a nice stadium.
