1st v 2nd, two unbeaten records on the line. A rare GFI for us. Hoping to strangle them to a loooow total.

Drop Catch v ShrimperZone CC

We can tell you that ShrimperZone CC won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

End of Over 2: 7-0, runrate=3.50
Gustav 1-0-5-0
Ireland* 3 (7 balls)
Sturgess 4 (5 balls)

What he said ! - Full strength on a GFI, and Lindop opens the batting. And we've made a good start. Par probably 250 in these conditions.

We can tell you that Paladins Of Purple won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

End of Over 8: 42-0, runrate=5.25
Whitbread 4-0-18-0
Lindop* 20 (25 balls)
Evelyn 22 (23 balls)

DIBS DIPPERS v Wanborough Wombles

Mrs BB in 2nd plays the 3rd placed side, however he's sold most of his players as he's moving to the Windies in the close season, so Mrs BB gets the chance to rest a couple before Sunday's big SZ derby, and she's on a TIE as well....

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 10: 26-4, runrate=2.60
Swailes 5-1-16-1
Dillon* 9 (14 balls)
Foran 7 (16 balls)

Last Wicket: Hewlett b. Naidoo 5 (FOW: 14/4)

On a GFI against the league leaders, who've spent heavily this season and had Dylan Noble in their ranks for the first few games. Got them 58-2 at the moment, with Cairns removed their 200k bat Classens for 26- only the second time in 8 OD innings this season that he's lost his wicket.

Its 2nd (me) -vs- 3rd (them) but we have both won 4/5 so far. Going to be a run chase for me. Sunny day, batting track.

End of Over 14: 64-0, runrate=4.57
Richardson 2-0-5-0
Edwards* 37 (35 balls)
Feasey 24 (50 balls)

Cant believe there is more downtime! *****!

That's Sunday settled then!! Stupid cup draw.

Might even it up a bit. She's only rested a couple, and Shah will be on international duty...
True, will be a close call. Hoping my GFI won't cost too much fitness. We're still a bowler light from being really competitive though. Having said that, being No. 4 in England and not feeling my team is good enough is a bit strange! Top teams shouldn't be fielding a sensational and two exceptional bowlers though.

Hoped for slower but it's sunny so fingers crossed should be ok.

End of Over 32: 132-2, runrate=4.13
Benjamin 6-0-28-0
Malcolm* 31 (35 balls)
Sturgess 59 (94 balls)

Last Wicket: Symes b. Marriott 11 (FOW: 71/2)

End of Over 35: 147-0, runrate=4.20
Deane 6-0-16-0
Feasey* 81 (121 balls)
Edwards 60 (90 balls)

End of Over 8: 28-1, runrate=3.50, reqrunrate=0.93 (66-10)
Lake 4-0-14-0
Laws* 11 (18 balls)
Phillips 0 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Saxby b. Walker 16 (FOW: 27/1)

Should get over 250 from here....

Paladins Of Purple v BATTY SHRIMPERS

Paladins Of Purple won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Cracked

End of Over 36: 176-1, runrate=4.89
Shaka 8-0-30-1
Lindop* 90 (116 balls)
Pollock 36 (47 balls)

Last Wicket: Evelyn b. Shaka 46 (FOW: 82/1)

Game over and feet up for Mrs BB.

DIBS DIPPERS v Wanborough Wombles

The match is over. DIBS DIPPERS won by 10 wickets.
Wanborough Wombles 42-10
DIBS DIPPERS 43-0

I needed only 20 odd overs to win. Using it as an opportunity to build up experience amongst my trainees, I bowled the bottom team out for 31 and knocked the runs off in 4.5 overs, with my most advanced trainee all-rounder picking up MoM.

End of Over 38: 153-0, runrate=4.03
Richardson 9-2-13-0
Edwards* 64 (98 balls)
Feasey 83 (131 balls)

Great bowling from Richardson.

Well chuffed with this! Bar the newbie nearly being as expensive as Johnson!

End of Over 48: 212-0, runrate=4.42
Ikramullah 9-0-47-0
Feasey* 104 (159 balls)
Edwards 101 (130 balls)
