ShrimperZone CC v Eppleton CC

Third match out of four this season, it's one each so far but they took the spoils in the OD game in a very tight match. All energetic and above and BT20 next week so it's GFI and we're bowling in cloudy & humid conditions.

End of Over 6: 24-1, runrate=4.00
Barrowdale 3-0-10-1
Lewington* 7 (14 balls)
Stubbs 12 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Dance b. Barrowdale 5 (FOW: 17/1)

4 down but they hide their best bats at 5, 6 and 7.

Got 6.53 million for Guy so gives me around 7-8 million to spend on a new bowler and have my eye on a couple :) Including one around 5 ish today!

Aztecs CC vs Southchurch Village CC

A good toss to win we bowled them out for 166, an equal PB of 5-40 for Bowditch.

Raafi 3-0-28-0

Which one are you after?

As for my game, home to 4th place who are 8 points ahead. My only chance to stay up is to win this one. GFI'd and bowled well.

End of Over 8: 34-1, runrate=4.25, reqrunrate=4.21 (210-5)
Donnelly 4-0-26-0
Raisani* 19 (26 balls)
Tsietsi 15 (20 balls)
Last Wicket: Chill Run Out 0 (FOW: 0/1)

End of Over 19: 90-1, runrate=4.74, reqrunrate=4.52 (229-4)
Edworthy 3-0-17-0
Sookram* 52 (48 balls)
Waterhouse 10 (27 balls)

Last Wicket: Browne c. Dolawatte b. Goodliffe 24 (FOW: 54/1)

Going well and win here will see me 2 wins clear off 5th place!

Muse, im after a couple :

Qoma is up at 4.46 and as he's not quite high enough, i'll looking to put him a bowl and fielding net if i did get him. Currently at 6 million.

Goulding is another target but there's a problem. The listing ends at half 3 am!!! Singh is going to cost me 9.5 million (ends this eve at half 8ish) but is a bit out of my comfortable price range!

Singh is a horrendous price. I sold an exquisite bowler with sensational batting for less than that a fortnight ago!

There's just no value in younger high-skilled players anymore. Best to buy older and train to sell to maintain this policy in my opinion.

And that's the end of the match. Southchurch Village CC won by 8 wickets.
Aztecs CC 166-10
Southchurch Village CC 169-2

End of Over 38: 169-2, runrate=4.45
Qadeer 8-1-33-0
Swayne* 84 (98 balls)
Lawrenson 68 (102 balls)

Aztecs CC Southchurch Village CC
Top Order: exceptional exceptional
Middle Order: wonderful quality
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: exquisite exceptional
Spin Bowling: masterful miraculous
Fielding: competent feeble

A good days work will keep us top going in to next weeks now hugely important match against my nemesis Fresh Team, 13 matches 13 defeats but my first victory against them could set me on my way to an unexpected shot at promotion to IV

Won by 7 wickets. Two wins in a row now, and that's both times with only 5 batsmen. Strange.

Didn't go for Qoma in the end as was asleep! I won by 8 wickets thanks to an unbeaten century from Sookram.

I dont expect to win my OD game next week, so dont really need a new bowler for a week and a half tbh!
