One player from the past

if you could replace just one current player , with one from the past who would they be.

For the sake of making the thread remotely interesting replacing Matt Harrold with Stan Collymore is so obvious it is not allowed !

To start with a possible contraversial one , Flaves replaced by Cawston
Yorkshire Blue - replaced by someone who knows something about football.
Peter Clarke (sorry Peter) with Paul Clark

Kevin Maher with Peter Butler (excellent player to have on the bench and in the dressing room)

Tommy Black with Andy Ansah (1990 version)
Mulgrew (although I quite like him) with Chrissy Powell - just to see him WIGGLE IT!!!!
Charles Ademeno replaced by Brettie Angell or David Crown.

Looking at some of the previous suggestions....what an awesome defence we had in our first promotion to the old 2nd Division......Austin Prior Powell all went on to play a number of premiership games, and I always rated Scully as highly as them that season!
