Why did Ron pay the £2m tax bill a few months ago when he could have let us go into administration and bought the club back cheap?

This is the one thing that gives me a bit of hope as it just doesnt make sense to me if all Ron is interested in is financial gain.

Because the administrator would sell to the highest bidder, and thet certainly wouldn't have been him, as apparently, he hasn't a pot to **** in.

The club going into administration is probably an event of termination for the agreement that he has with Sainsburys.

Unlikely, they would deal with whoever runs the club, it's not important in their plans, in fact, they may prefer it if it wasn't him.

What has that got to do with administration being an event of default leading to termination?
