Read today Paul Konchesky is set to sign for Billericay Town after a falling out with new management.

It's a massive step down for him. Whether it's Billericay's new owner making a statement and bankrolling his salary [like we've seen at Canvey and Chelmsford with Jeff King] or his made the choice purely to play the most football he can knowing he can't sign for another league club I don't know. But it was interesting news to me.

Sounds like Billers' new owner is shaking things up down there. Craig Edwards has resigned as the owner is too hands-on. It never seems to end well when the owner interferes too much, I can see it all ending in tears.
