Sort of goes with what BoyWonder2 said that they were in talks with a prospective buyer but dont think he can afford to buy everything.I speculated earlier in the season that I wondered if they could be future new owners, wouldn't surprise me, although they're wealthy people I don't think they likely have deep enough pockets. Based on nothing.
I would imagine the club have already broken the terms of the contract in some way (like most other contracts signed by the club). Maybe not the actual Sponsorship contract but certainly any agreement to do with the loan.BoyWonder2 you say they agreed to be our sponsor for the next 5 years, was a contract signed , if so and they break that contract, do the club have any recourse they can follow for break of contract . I understand they have put a lot of money into the club ,but that by no means gives them the right to dictate to the club ,they have got what they paid for thats naming rights on the shirts.
This company shows that communication isn’t always the right way forward. We already have an owner who is an absolutely clown to put it politely however this company definitely want to give him a run for his money (lol) when it comes to being the most outrageous.
To be honest I understand why they are constantly ****ed off but a little bit of DD before becoming sponsor is all that was needed to see they wouldn’t have it easy. I’d much prefer that we didn’t have them as a sponsor next year as we don’t need the drama with them too.
Also it’s 1 sentence![]()
Looking good JC
Bags(y) I do the jokes, so leave(s) off. When they turn up in site to deliver their load, is that PG Tips?![]()
Clearly you don't do the jokes, reading your posts are a real strain(er)Bags(y) I do the jokes, so leave(s) off.
I wonder who their legal adviser is.I would be very surprised if PG site services didnt conduct fairly extensive DD. They have been in business for some time, involved in, significant contracts and know perfectly well how to tie up legal agreements, especially if forking out a ton of money to one Ronald Martin
Those agreement's would have to be abided by, The sums provided to the club were seemingly very significant and we may not have ben on here anymore without them, or had a club, worth bearing that perspective in mind whilst the key board warriors worry about a few wayward tweets or a spelling mistake
You wouldnt catch Rebus or Wyndham plastics behaving this way....
Why do they need to make and announcement, to announce that they are making an announcement at a later date. Just announce it !!
If he's doing his nut over 40k, he's hardly going to be happy and willing to lose probably 500k to a Million a year on SUFC.I speculated earlier in the season that I wondered if they could be future new owners, wouldn't surprise me, although they're wealthy people I don't think they likely have deep enough pockets. They have lent a lot more than 40KIf he's doing his nut over 40k, he's hardly going to be happy and willing to lose probably 500k to a Million a year on SUFC.
Yes I know, but he was sounding off about the 40k mainly. It was that amount he was expecting as a minimum when the tax man was paid. In my own opinion, allegedly. They have lent a lot more than 40K
Companies who do fairly extensive DD are in the minority. Most wing it, cutting corners wherever possible to save money. Proper DD costs money. It’s like buying a house: the most expensive purchase most people will ever make and yet people just go with the cheapest conveyancers - or worse the conveyancer recommended by the estate agent - so they end up with a pro forma report written by an unqualified paralegal or secretary, which they then ignore anyway.I would be very surprised if PG site services didnt conduct fairly extensive DD.
