I suppose he has to say that, but it's a transparent terminological inexactitude isn't it Phil.....
He's right to some extent. Just need 4 wins in a row.
Bristol Rovers were also on the pitch at Wycombe the week before they were relegated by Mansfield, having thought they were safe. The chances of them actually going down on the day were remote, they had to lose at home and two other teams had to win. The weirdest things happen in football.50 points (which we'll have if we win all 4 games) is usually enough to see you safe but not always, Bristol Rovers were relegated in 2014 with that points total.
Blimey, with the form of the bottom 3, I think we are entering fantasy territory!Still not enough if Grimsby and Colchester win their remaining games
It's just not going to happen, is it? Sadly, but realistically, it's out of our hands now and relegation is pretty much a certainty. We're effectively seven points from safety with twelve points left to play for...I'm an optimist, but also realistic. Can anyone really see us winning 4 games?
Phil Brown loves the pier. If he can pull off this miracle, he should be given the keys to it.
