According to soccerbase, that was Phil Brown's 46th match in charge, which would equate to a full league season*.

Our record in that time is won 17, drawn 13, lost 16.

This would equate to 64 points a season. Over the last 3 seasons in League Two that would have us finishing 12th, 12th and 11th. Hopefully we'll finish above that this season though!

So Phil maintains his overall win ratio during his managerial career.:winking:

Think its harsh to judge him on anything other than this season.

Reckon we will finish in the top 7 even if it does require an upturn in form.

Well that's not a very good basis for equating to a full season; wait a few weeks and do it properly :winking:

That might be a bit too much effort as soccerbase's managerial stats don't differentiate between league and cup.

Agree with this.I think this season Brown has done a good job for us,bit of a sticky spell at the moment but hopefully we can get back on track soon and push on again.Few wins on the trot and we may be looking at the automatics again

Not like Yorkshire Blue to put a negative slant on Phil Brown's managerial achievements... :winking:

It's not difficult. Deduct seven cup games with 3 wins and 4 defeats and come back after the Oxford match which co-incidentally would have been on the anniversary of his appointment had it not been brought forward a day. Without the cup games, his record is very slightly better.

What nonsense this is. Judge him at the end of the season if you must, but how would you like people judging what you did coming into a new job having to use someone else's methods and employees?

It was meant as a progress report than judging him.

ps I felt it was part of my job.
