There's quite a few..

Kiernan
Murphy
Loza (2)
Sokolik
Egan
Bolger
Thompson
O'Neill (2)
Piggott (2)
Cassidy
McLaughlin
Barnett
Rea
Hendrie
McQueen
Kamara
Malarcyzk
Walton
Amos
King
Inniss

I'd say there were more hits than misses and several came permanently.

Still not having Ryan’s Inniss is a pro footballer. That lad is a doorman who just stumbled in to a changing room one day and was too daft to find his way out

Kiernan - HIT
Murphy - MISS
Loza (2) - MISS
Sokolik - HIT
Egan - HIT
Bolger - MISS (injury)
Thompson - HIT (as he turned into a successful permanent signing, his actual loan spell was a MISS)
O'Neill (2) - MISS
Piggott (2) - HIT
Cassidy - MISS
McLaughlin - HIT
Barnett - MISS
Rea - MISS
Hendrie- HIT? (at least as a loanee)
McQueen - MISS
Kamara- MISS
Malarcyzk - MISS
Walton - HIT
Amos - MISS
King - MISS
Inniss - MISS

Where's Coulthirst? He was a MISS.

Where's JJ O'Toole? He was another MISS.

You cant say Bolger was a miss because he signed permanently and was part of the winning team at Wembley.

Barnett was a decent loan signing but we learnt he didn't have the right attitude to sign permanently.

Where they are now:

Kiernan - Signed for us
Murphy -WBA on loan from Newcastle
Loza (2) -Billericay Town
Sokolik - Torquay United
Egan - Sheffield United
Bolger - Lincoln City
Thompson - Bury
O'Neill (2) - Gillingham
Piggott (2) - AFC Wimbeldon
Cassidy - Hartlepool United
McLaughlin - Signed for Us
Barnett - Unattached
Rea - Luton Town
Hendrie - Signed for us
McQueen - Middlesborough on loan from Southampton
Kamara - Rangers
Malarcyzk - Korona Kielce
Walton - Wigan on loan from Brighton
Amos - Spurs
King - Swansea
Inniss - Crystal Palace

Interesting to see what clubs they're at now.

some good loan signings listed here all played a part in his success as a manager

Mixed bag overall. The benefits of a loan

Yes the same sort of results that every other club would have.

Some of the academy players that have gone on to bigger and better things have been wrongly described as a 'miss'. They were here as cover for injuries not to burst into our 1st team. In a period when we had the likes of Lenny at CM, they proved to be decent cover when needed and their parent clubs were happy with how they were treated and progressed.......Of course had they been here last season they may have got 40+games.

All in all very few failures on that list.

This thread is plump for the "Battle of the loan signings".

Bagsy Britt Assombolonga.
