Which is incredibly small minded of you. I've gone in the platinum lounge for the last 2 JPT games and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the whole evening. Don't slag it off if you've no real idea.

brads dad of the under 16s owns a proper pie and mash shop in poplar,if he's supplying it get on it,absolutely delish!

It will be a pukka pie but not a Pukka Pie!

We are hoping to work with a local Pie and Mash outlet to bring in an authentic experience. Our last JPT game against Dagenham saw us sell-out with 310 covers so we'd recommend booking soon if you are interested as those who come last time have already expressed interest in large numbers.

Call Sue Page on 01702 304147 or email commercial@southend-united.co.uk to book.

Well that is awesome news then! And well done football club (scriven I assume) for coming on here and updating!

What's with all this cockney nostalgia rubbish? I'd prefer a "Turkish night" with choice of doner, shish, chicken or mixed.

Whoever normally serves the nice little pies at half time in the boxes should be doing these, their pies are delish!

We have teamed up with Robins Pie & Mash shops for our hospitality against Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday, 4th December. Robins Pie & Mash operate branches in Southend, Basildon, Wanstead, Romford, Loughton and Beckton. Our Pie & Mash hospitality packages start from just £25 per person so why not call Sue Page on 01702 304147 to secure your booking.

Well done the club for showing a bit of business accumen.

Good idea, but wouldnt it have been a better idea to announce this before people bought their tickets without the P/M addition?

Very unlikely; no tell-tale spelling mistakes or incorrectly used words and a little wiitticism at the beginning. My money's on Ms Page.

Any plans to improve the abject catering in the rest of the ground or is the tactic to leave it as it is to make the special hospitality stuff more attractive in comparison?
