play off tickets

Yeah great idea, if you live in Southend and get to every home game. Would be a nice means of thanks for all the away support I've managed to get to this year. Worked it out the other day and I've been to exactly as many away as home.

I wrote to the club just after the Shrewsbury game suggesting that they give ticket holders from one of the away games the same priority for the benefit of the exiles but got no reply

I guess there will always be a group of us who aren't happy, it's the price you pay for being successful

This is Southend, over the years I've learnt that  some Shrimpers  will never be happy...

Sorry to hear you got soaked, Katecat, the weather was more like the Highlands than Grimsby!

I doubt the game will sell out anyway to be honest. Its on teley, everyone is on a bit of a downer after the last few games and it kicks off 20 minutes after the FA Cup final finishes which is going to attract a lot of the day-trippers.

I can see why you chose the uncovered terraced Shrews game when the heavens opened. To be honest, if you found a ticket that didn't disintegrate through extreme saturation, you'd do well!

I agree it would be a nice touch. If they're looking for it as a loyalty repayment then I expect many people will be included in both the home game and the away game anyway. There's not many of us exiles as a percentage of away support, I wouldn't have thought.

Not sure about others on this thread Beefy, but I meant the away game where we'll only have about 1250 allocated. If they go to seasos first then general sale, I don't really rate my chances of picking up a few tickets by phone.

I don't think the club will mind a few stains on the ticket.

I take it these are the Emma Bunton Concert tickets you're talking about

Just rung the club shop and the lady with a very bad flu informs me in the words of Manuel the Spanish waiter from barcelona "I know nothing".
Do we get our seaso seats reserved?

Not being a seaso and having lost my ticket stub from 'The Show in the Snow', it'll be watching it on Sky for me.

If any other London Shrimpers are in a similar predicament, how about a meet-up somewhere in town this Sunday afternoon?

Just rung the ticket office & been told that there will be 1200 tickets sent down frm Northampton & will probably go on sale tomorrow, however on a ONE-PER-PERSON basis only. The lady didn't know if they'll be available to purchase online or not.
I knew the home tie was on 21st May but for those of you who didn't know the KO time (as I didn't) its at 6.15pm.

The club will make a decision today if tickets for the home leg will be sold on a ticket voucher scheme or if it will be a first come first served situation. I for one hope it NOT be the latter as I think this would be a little unfair for those who have Season tickets or buy tickets for the same seats each match only to possibly lose out on those seats to someone else for the Play-off semi's.

Sorry if this repeats any other thread,I'm at work & shouldn't really be on the web, haven't had time to check the other posts.

UP THE BLUES!!

I assume Season Ticket Holders will get priority? Did she tell you?

interestingly on Seatbooker they show season tickets for next season - prices ranging from £105 for Adults in the West Stand to £148 for the East Greens!

I cant see the N'ton game selling out TBH, so it doesn't matter, as much at the moment.

I'd imagine STH will have tomorrow and Wednesday to get tickets for Sunday's match and then will go on general sale on Thursday ...

No,she just sounded very harrassed. In her words "I've had 10million calls from fans all asking me the same questions about tickets" 10 mill eh? Better get there early to queue for tickets then.

She advised me to check the website later this afternoon for more info.

I'm sure (ahem) it won't happen, but I will be VERY unhappy if I don't get the opportunity to purchase the ticket for my regular seat number should they go for a 1st come 1st served method of selling the tickets.

Any shouts on if Uncle Ron will produce a special shirt for the Final. "Oh look lads, just happened to have 5000 on order, had a feeling this would happen..."

Which is interesting, for those that remember the Digital camera at Comets a year back which was incorrectly labelled, however everyone who bought were told by law the company had to sell it to them..........
Can you book your seaso's online at that price?

We've had silver, and we've had blue. What will it be this time should we get past Northampton?

We should produce a special commemorative "1st team" who actually have the ability to SCORE in a final & not lose their nerve..

No sorry ,that was wrong of me, I must believe!

I love you really

I like that. Could become very fetching.

I now have a great feeling that we are going up, but only if we wear our home shirt in the final (IF we make it that far). The reason we can't win, or score, at Cardiff is because we keep changing our kit (Clutching at straws I know).

So IF we get to the final, and IF we wear our home shirt of this season, we are going up.

C'mon Southend. Lets be aving ya!

arse - cant find my stub from Shrewsbury BUT I can find my email confirmation as I bought my Brizzle LDV and Shrews tickets in one hit. Gonna take that down there and hope for the best.
