I hope tomorrow's game is better than this evenings
It was a pretty decent game for NL. What have you been watching all season. Hope it is a good omen.

So bored of all this FGR talk. Hope to never play them again. Hopefully one day they will arrest Dale for funding all the just stop oil pranks.

Southend boys are on a bender

Stale Mince is a sex offender

I did say that last week. Oldham are more than capable of beating anyone in this league, as are we. That's the nature of the league. I also said that any team can freeze, Halifax definitely did that. They were all over the place.

I sincerely hope we don't freeze tonight.
So it came into fruition. These playoffs can always throw up such things. We should never be shocked. We just need to do our bit now.

Btw how does the money work at Wembley- 50k crowd is say £1.5m at their prices (not forgetting all the hospitality outlets). Do the team get a reasonable chunk or do the FA nab it all?

When i first looked at the playoffs, the dream Wembley tie was Southend v Oldham.
I really struggle to see Oldham beat York tonight, i think City win at a canter. Going to be very interesting, but having seen York City play us in what was a huge game at the time for both teams, they took us apart. I expect theyll do the same tonight. If Oldham do manage an upset, itll be a monumental win. I just cant see Oldham getting the ball off them. Cant wait to watch this game.
…..and that is exactly what the York players, mgt and fans thought 😎

And no robbing from the houses in Nailsworth as a third of the population is at the football...I know what you tiny handed, in charge of spinnin waltzers on the beachfront, charging a 10er for a ride on a donkey seaside folk your all like!
I've always felt that if you're going to attempt an insult at least a) be original and, b) get the grammar right.

I agree. Heart breaking for any team to get 96 points and not get promoted. Rules really do need changing.
Very similar to the 91/92 season when we were promoted from what was then called the Vauxhall Conference, Wycombe missed out on goal difference, they finished 2nd on 94 points when only one team got promoted. We won 1-0 at their ground with a goal from our keeper Scott Barrett who kicked the ball from his area it bounced over their keeper and into the net:Smile: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991–92_Football_Conference
