I believe we're now only a couple of weeks away from completing our bowling training. Plums should pop in the next couple of weeks I hope. Will then have ten nets dedicated to improving our batting.

Call me unedumacated but isn't a stamina net long overdue here ? On the subject of stamina I see others on here throw stamina nets on batsmen too. I've not noticed the PFL drain so much on batsmen, though I can juggle players around a bit. Are the other teams running skinny on batsmen due to wages ?

No pops that I can see on the phone but I have a couple due imminently including a bat pop for allrounder.

On the whole yes batsmen have a lower PFL hit, though it is subjective in OD matches as batsmen can face 0 to 180 balls where as a bowler will never bowl more than 10 overs. Personally I work on the basis of these requirements:

All Rounders: Superb
Bowlers: Strong
Batsmen: Proficient

Seems to be enough for players to play most games as long as they're not getting nets. It's also easier to rest batsmen as you can hide weaker ones down the order whereas a weak bowler will always be exposed at some point.

Looking forward to next season when I can drop my three all rounders to 6, 7 and 8 to save them a bit for bowling.

Thanks!

Once Deane is upto a decent standard of bowling, it will help as it will give me 6 very decent bowlers (of which 3 will be all-rounders) and i can rotate it around a bit more than i can now! Like MrB, its mostly all going on the batting side of things, as we both desperately need it, esp as the effect that the bowlers are having are minimising quite a bit IMO!

Wouldn't say long overdue, but once a net becomes available, I will pass around as a stamina net anyway. My two nets that were once free I now use on a trainee wk/batsman.
