Breaking News Primus-cup

Hi everyone ,just a quick post to let you all know that our U12 C of Excellence squad left this morning at 6 o clock to compete in the Primus-cup , an indoor 7 a side tounament in Germany,near Frankfurt. Luckyluca (GK) and Rossi from the zone are playing ,Please go to Primus-cup.de and follow the boys ,they have first game at 10 am in the morning ,a very strong line up of teams await them but they a talented lot so fingers crossed. Thanks

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Southend U12's just finished 4th in the Primus cup losing to TSG Hoffenheim 1-2, the final was won by FC Zurich who beat FC Kaiserslautern .This was a great achievment for the boys as it was a indoor tournament that european clubs play all year round whereas we do not . The boys played great football and once again show the strength of the youth system at Southend United . On a personal note, luckyluca (my son), won Goalkeeper of the tournament, cant wait to see him tomorrow night
