Dont believe that Southend United FC have being trying for over 20 years having massive knowbacks with the council etc..

Arsenal only talked about leaving Highbury a few years back...

Fingers crossed we can finally get the go ahead

Surely they are no going to leave it till the last day estimated.

Could be tomorrow ?

The last day is not an estimate it's a deadline, in fact the Inspectorate give an estimate of 7 weeks from date of receipt to reach a decision and usually decisions are reached well within the 7 weeks (B&Q at Fossets Farm was only about 4 weeks).

They have had the stadium documents for 11 weeks now, although I doubt much happens over Christmas & New Year so its not 11 working weeks.

Just got this reply from the goverment...

I am afraid no news as yet, so hopefully it will be issued tomorrow (6th March).

Does anyone know how often the government decline plans that have already been given permission by councils?

Would you please ask them where are they going to publish the decision and they give the url link so that everyone can go and look at ?
