On Tuesday Night I visited the TANDOORI PARLOUR in Hart Road Thundersley and I've got to say at was an excellent meal at an unbeatable price.

On Tuesday and Wednesday nights their special offer is;

Appetisers,

Choice of starters,

Main course any curry from their menu
Rice any from their menu
Side Dish of your choice
Nan bread

Choice of Dessert

Bottle of House Wine

Price £29.95 PER COUPLE

So just under £15.00 a head I think you would struggle to get Fish and Chips at that price. They were very Welcoming, attentive, pleasant and helpful and I cannot praise them enough.

At other times they do a buffet with over 50 dishes.

The Tandoori used to be a bit of a joke locally - cram them in for poor quality buffet food with a meagre selection (have had food poisoning a couple of times from there), while raking it in over the bar - however, we went recently for a friend's fund raiser and they have really upped their game. The food was massively improved in quality and choice. Not tried it ourselves as simply a restaurant, but I know Karl Lansley uses it for his fund raisers for the Carli Lansley Foundation and the Trust have used it in the past for fundraising evenings.

Went out for a curry last night. Couple of poppadums whilst perusing the menu, then a main each, a side each and a rice each with my wife having also having a dessert. A beer for me, a glass of wine and a lemonade for my wife.

I have been there twice on fundraisers/charity events.

The buffet food was pretty poor and then at 9pm it gets wheeled away for a really low quality disco.
