Redknapp at training today

That's more like it. Hopefully Bond is just doing the dirty work before 'arry takes full control.

Yep helping bond all the way, will be a regular, can’t do any harm, we need all the help we can get:Thumbs up:

HARRY Redknapp was at Southend United’s training ground this afternoon overseeing the Shrimpers’ preparations for Saturday’s trip to Fleetwood Town.

Who knows? Harry might be taking full control and rons sold him the dream of new stadium and decent budget! Harrys not gonna get a prem or champ job anymore and is getting to the age where he might feel he wants one more shot at guiding a club like blues firstley to safety and promotion next season which ever division where in?

Legend, classy move if this is to continue for the next 6 games. Well done Ron. A character and a tactical man to guide us to safety. Beats having CP’s moany face lurking about.

I bet the players are buzzing as well.

Harry's aiming to bring some fun back to training and introduce incentives, apparently the winner of the first bush tucker trial is going to be made the new captain

You joke...but anything to get the players minds re-focused away from how utterly ****e they have been for 12 games might just work.

Harry R will not take on a full time manager role. He certainly won't commute from Sandbanks to B&L/RH and famously gets home every night to be with his wife of 50 years. The daily commuting to QPR nearly killed him.

On the other hand being out the game won't be much fun either.

A more likely possibility is KB does the bulk of the coaching with KK and all the heavy load work (most thats always been the case) with Harry involved in more of a Director of Football capacity. Maybe once week at training, player evaluation and match days. This could work very well all round.

Actually the way they have announced it could be very clever expectation setting.

If one thing HR can do is get the best out of players.

I don't want Harry involved with our club.

However, if Bond feels like it's worth him coming to training, chatting with the team, giving Bond some ideas and comments, and being an informal adviser at a hugely important stage of the club's history (relegation could be very damaging), then I don't see that as a bad thing necessary.

He has been successful at a high level, he will be the kind of people manager who some of the players will respond to, he has a trusted relationship with Bond, and so let's see what the response by the team is on Saturday. UTBs

I’d assume Redknapp’s visit was just to observe & advise 007.

Although, with this club you just don’t know.

I still couldn’t see Redknapp wanting to manage us, because it’s universally known & accepted that he loves a pound note & we don’t have any.
