I think you pitched it about right, FWIW I thought Theo Robinson was terrible, esp second time around and one of the worst footballers I ever saw in a Blue shirt but seemed a good guy!

Awful on the ball but his off the ball movement was first class and created a lot of space for other players, more than once in our highlights you'd see the goalscorer left in heaps of space because Theo had darted off somewhere and the defender had followed him without thinking. Maybe if the defender did more homework on what he was like on the ball he'd have known it was safe to let Theo run off by himself but fortunately they often didn't realise that.

I think you pitched it about right, FWIW I thought Theo Robinson was terrible, esp second time around and one of the worst footballers I ever saw in a Blue shirt but seemed a good guy!

I didn't mind Robinson until when Sol Campbell left and he put a cryptic tweet from his podcast profile insinuating it was due to colour. Shameful comment

Robinson's first touch let him down time & time again.

He didn't have one, , that was partly my point.

Once his pace had gone, that was it, yes he did get a nice hat trick against a poor Gills team but how many more chances did he miss.

He was one of too many P Brown "punts" after doing well for Lincoln and was probably cheap.

When Theo Robinson played right mid we usually would end with 3 points. He certainly pinned any opponent left back into their own half. Claiming he was one of our worst ever is total nonsense.

Even in that last season we got more points when he played than when he didn't. Plus he was handicapped because Cox refused to pass to him even when he was in great positions in the penalty area.
