Would be nice if all of those shops were demolished and replaced by a similar size structure to that of Prospects Place. Then some of those inhabitants currently residing in St Marys Court could move out and that land passed to the club to help accommodate the fan zone / ticket office relocation etc However, i dare say Ron probably owns those shops, parcel of land rather than it being under COSU / POSU control.

Would be nice that as you drive down Victoria Avenue you could see the new East Stand that has been built, rather than a fleeting glance at the car park entrance before its hidden from view by the 3 1980 housing blocks.

Perhaps cockle43 or our council leader who frequent this forum could inform us in layman’s terms of the current progress of the revised residential Fossetts development application.

At what point will we get our ‘substantial investment’ to take Roots Hall and the club forward. Is it on council approval of the project or staggered when construction is planned to begin in 2027?

Ownership of RH transfers when planning permission for the housing estate at FF is approved. I was told that this should be ready for approval by the end of 2025.

Money flows to the club when funds are drawn down to start the building at FF.

Good news but, isn't it a little open-ended? No projected timescale and, of course, a feasibility study can determine it is not viable. I will keep my powder dry until I see planning passed, pennies found and diggers digging. The caveat, RH is a long way off being the assured future of SUFC.

I'd be very surprised if the club don't have a full blown project plan, but detailing dates and milestones in a fan update would be overkill.

If taking part in a survey hopefully many of you will have a club museum on your wish list re what you would like to see in the new development.

The History Group/SUEPA are working hard to help make this a reality and the new 'Roots & All' book is just one tool to be used to help bring some funding for such a project.

A combined museum - cafe - memorabilia room .... run by fans for everyone ... we just need the space in a revamped Roots Hall to make it happen

I'd personally love to see a little area for hot desking. Would be particular beneficial especially on weeknight match days.

Could finish work, have dinner at the club and then watch the game rather than have to clock watch, then rush down the A12 / A127, park miles away from the ground and then jog (my running days are well behind me) to just catch kick-off.

Even on non match days i could see myself using it once a week. They would need to improve the reliability of the Internet though...

I am just delighted that we are staying at RH - where we belong

This has been a long time coming and hopefully done correctly with involvement from everyone involved in the club from club staff, board members, local businesses, local groups and importantly supporters on what they envisage it could be on a match day alongside the structure for revenue income 52 weeks of the year.

Looking forward to seeing all the plans

I guess it will be Stadimax that will be responsible for the development of the East Stand Burger Bar and hopefully with today’s modern technology they will be able to recreate the same smell & smoke

Justin has already said Football Clubs can't survive on Match Day income alone. You will find that the redevelopment will include many opportunities to provide extra income streams 365 days a year. Exciting times ahead.

Reliable sauces inform me that the West Stand will be stretched back on a cantilever at a lower angle extending to Chalkwell Park, effectively forming a roof over half the city. The new stand will be unique in Europe, housing 235, 000 supporters, ideal for another push towards the NL playoffs. Am hearing there will also be 2 food trucks (aka burger vans) and John Smiths and Madri will be on tap.
