Dropping a Ricketts...

Leeds have been relegated after going into administration. Masterstrokes like paying Michael Ricketts an inflated salary, in fact any salary at, help to explain why. Chairman Ken Bates revealed: "When we played Preston a few weeks ago and Michael Ricketts missed an open goal, I said 'he's probably forgotten who he is playing for because we are paying him more than Preston'."

so it appears Leeds are still paying Ricketts a large proportion of his wages and probably his food bill.
