A proper footballing legend Eusebio has died, aged 71. Scored 733 times in 745 appearances - truly remarkable.
 
RIP a real legend of football. Scored 9 goals in the 66 World Cup and would of easily been the best player in the world had Pelé not of been around.
 
RIP Eusebio, the footballing world has lost one of its truly legendary players.
 
Obviously all I have seen of Eusebio is grainy video footage, but his is one of those great names that resonates across the ages. Everyone who loves the game knows (or should!) about his exploits and I was sad to hear he had passed away.

There is often talk on here of excessive use of the minutes silence/applause at football matches, but Man Utd were spot on having one yesterday.
