Sandwiches

What makes a really good sandwich?

What combinations work for you?

I just had mature cheddar, tomato and red onion, with seasoning with white bread.

Lovely.

Grated Strong cheese with chunky Branston pickle

or cold over cooked sausages with tomato sauce

Good questions

I would have to say a busty blonde one side and a cheeky brunette vixen the other side with me in the middle is my fav sandwich.....

morning: sausage, bacon, tomate sauce/brown sauce, white bread

lunch: ham and coleslaw, chicken club, ham, chorizo and salad, ham and salad on wholemeal or seeded bread

I'm sure this has been covered in a thread not too long ago but blowed if I can find it. Anyway, my favourite sandwiches are either a good old prawn mayo, preferably from M&S or a ham, cheese and pickle, with mustard mayo and some rocket. I should tell you about another one my dad introduced me to many years ago, and which will probably sound completely disgusting to some of you. It's a triple sliced sandwich, with marmite and cheese on one layer and peanut butter and chopped banana on the other layer - for some reason (and if you actually like those things!) it really works well together!

Sorry about my spelling.

Anyway- that sounds rancid.

My brother carefully cooks a packet of super noodles so they remain in rectangular block shape and then puts them between two slices of bread.

I am getting deja vu of bacon buttygate here!
