Saturday's Opponents could be without another striker.

"The Hull Daily Mail is reporting that Barnsley have joined the race to sign Hull City’s out-of-favour striker Nick Proschwitz. Barnsley's Championship rivals Doncaster and League One side Wolves are also understood to be keen on the German, who has fallen further down the pecking order at the KC Stadium following the arrivals of Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long."

If he leaves The KC Stadium before saturday we will probably be up against a strike force of Matty Fryatt & Yannick Sagbo. City will have 6 available strikers if Proschwitz leaves. (5 if Danny Graham packs his bags).

Hull's available strikers (as of 22/1):

Danny Graham
Matty Fryatt
Yannick Sagbo
Sone Aluko
Matthew Fletcher
Calaum Jahraldo-Martin

PS: George Boyd is a Midfielder :smiles:

PS George Boyd is a winger.

Strewth, imagine the luxury of having six strikers. I bet Hull's version of Big Brother must run for ever.

From another thread:

Sone Aluko is injured and it's unlikely Danny Graham will be permitted to play, Sunderland didn't want him to be cup tied for the last round so i assume the same will apply here.

Line up will probably be:-

Harper
McShane Faye Bruce
Rosenior Meyler Quinn Koren Boyd
Sagbo Fryatt

We certainly aren't expecting an easy game, infact i can see you causing us plenty of problems especially if you have any pace down the right, Bruce & Faye certainly aren't the quickest...

So, a 3-5-2 formation is predicted ........... or a 5-3-2 when under pressure .........

..........up against our 4-3-3 ....... otherwise seen as a 4-1-4-1 or a 4-5-1 .......

this could be a tricky game to work out quite who one should be marking and where runners might be coming from ............
