Back in 1985, I went to my first Southend game - home to today's opponents, Scunthorpe.

I know we won 2-1 and that the North Bank felt very odd for a then six-year-old, but my clearest memory is of the Scunny keeper.

The bloke had a nervous tic, which involved him twitching his head towards his shoulder at regular intervals.

The sympathetic North Bank jumpred on this of course, with a chorus of:

Twitch twitch
Twitch twitch
Twitch twitch
La la la
Twitch twitch
Twitch twitch
Twitch twitch
La la la
etc etc

Anyone else remember this? As I said, it was 1985, about September time I think.
