Tomorrow's late afternoon match, with the very worthwhile prize for winning being home and away matches against Newcastle, West Brom and Hull, will be refereed by Ian Fissenden from Gravesend.
A non-league referee who last refereed at Roots Hall in 2011 for the FA Youth Cup tie against Corinthian which we won 4-0.
He has been back to Roots Hall thrice as either Assistant Referee or Fourth Official.
Nathan Kitteridge from Harlow and Andrew Simmonds from Grays (who I saw refereeing the White Ensign/Takeley FA cup replay last week) will be assisting.
Fourth Official, Kirk Edwards will be making the long journey from ............. Southend-on-Sea .
