I have just been down to the club shop to purchase my season ticket. I got some pretty good seats in South Upper, now what I was more concerned about was the ammount of people who have not renewed looking at all the stands on the computer.

She said the red one's are renewed or bought and the blue one's are not renewed. White being totally free to anyone. Around 70% were blue and this is slightly worrying to me. Are we going to lose a few fans because of relagation??

Or is it just the fact that people are waiting for pay day??

I think everyone is waiting until payday, £380 is a hefty amount for most people and I suspect people are waiting until the last minute.
I am this very second about to phone up and renew mine and buy one for my brother.

True and to be honest I am skint but I just shoved it on my credit card and will pay it off when the bill comes through.

Actually waiting till I get back from Honeymoon, ******* loads of money on wedding etc but will be quids in when it all done and dusted.
Dont expect season tickets to break the three thousand mark so many glory hunters last season, most of the bods round me didnt have a clue when i started talking about previous seasons, actually quite glad I will be sitting with REAL supporters next season.

After 721 attempts to get through to the club shop I did it and renewed mine last week.

Should be renewing on Saturday but hoping to move along a block if there are enough seats free come the cut-off date. Not sure if this can be done or not.

I've renewed my season ticket. The bit of grass between the East and South Stands, known by many now as Groyne Corner.

Sit beside the flats to watch Southend attacking the North Bank, then sit on the wall to watch us knock shots way over the South Upper.

Prices frozen as well. Cracking deal. And if the football's dull, the chavs fighting over girlfriends or half a bottle of White Lightning is a lively spectacle.

Now this is a shame. It has been good to have you and the AAS lads near us this season. Had helped to create more of the atmosphere in our bit.

Dont go Jai. :fury:

Just renewed mine, bought my brother one in the row in front which was a free seat, she said that if he wants to move to a released seat in our row on the 4th June (if the others havent renewed) they will do it free of charge - i.e. they wont charge you the next rate. It took me just 5 mins to sort both tickets out, quite impressed considering some of the stories ive heard about the ticket office.

When I went in the girl I dealt with was good as gold, couldn't say a bad word against her. Friendly, knew what she was talking about and just made it easy to sign up.

I think attendances will be good next season for Div 3 Football .. Southend are becoming the club of choice......... in Southend.... (at last!)

Where abouts do you sit Dave?

Front Row of South Upper close to East Stand Corner.

Dad of Dts on my left and Ldn Fatso a few seats along. You will spot him as he will be the one being sick after I let one go at half time.

Dont expect season tickets to break the three thousand mark

If we only have 3,000 season ticket holders that will mean 50% of people not renewing. Considering we have had 250 new applications so far, I think the figure next season will be over 4,500 maybe even more?

Seems the higher percentage at the moment are waiting till pay day to renew.
