Breaking News Season Tickets - now on sale

It'll be massive if we get close to last seasons total at £420 a time, it'll add more money to the kitty which would be good and help with improvements at roots Hall, just think its a bit to much, havnt had a season ticket for a few years now but if it was around £350 I would of got one even tho I'd miss half the games through work, let's hope we have a good budget and get out of this league this season.
Not everyone pays full price. My kids don't. In fact they don't pay at all, I do!

Was £400 last season so it’s around an extra 86p a game , really not that big of a jump

You're right, the jump isn't that big, but the platform you're jumping from is already the highest in the league and higher than some Premier League season tickets. (For example, the cheapest season ticket at Manchester City is £425).

I think the issue that some people have is its possibly a big chunk of money to pay out at one time, especially if you have a couple to purchase. Whilst it only works out at around £8 a week / £35 a month at this present time its not possible to make payments at differing intervals other than yearly.

Although it shouldn't have come as a shock that at some point the club would put out their prices for the upcoming season. Ron used to do it early in March or even February at some points.

If people had saved say £50 from each payday since March they would have had £200 saved by the end of June comes around. Although its quite easy to say just save some money each month when that may not be an option when it comes to peoples personal finances.

We just can't (or shouldn't) compare our seaso cost to team like City, they are simply just trying to fill the stadium whilst the gate money is absolutely key for teams like us.

City and most prem teams are drowing in money from owners and TV deals. To the point where City could literally open the stadium for free and hardly notice.

Some quick and conservative maths, even if they sold out every league game at an average £50 a ticket, it would be about 50m. That's the cost of just one half of Jack Grealish (purchase price only).

*Edited for a predictable maths error haha, 19 home gomes not 38!

Many clubs at our level offer a payment plan. A real shame we haven't offered this.

York's for instance is over 10 instalments - https://yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk/direct-debit-update-2025-26-season-tickets/ July to April. £35 per month by Direct Debit with just a £5 admin fee. Perfect.

There's plenty other clubs doing the same, why not us?...This would be incredibly helpful for fans and also boost the uptake for sure.

Can't be arsed to list all the clubs, but here's a few from the bigger clubs and what they offer...

Forest Green: DD payment plan over 5 months.
Rochdale: Offer option of 3 payments via Klarna.
York: DD payment plan over 10 months.
Carlisle: DD payment plan.
Morecambe: Payment plan over 3 months via Paypal.
Eastleigh: DD payment plan over 5 months.
Sutton: Offer option of 3 payments via Klarna.

Wish they would of done this and easy to do without need for credit checks. As if DD fails ST becomes inactive. When you have 3/4 to buy its just not doable for many Inc myself. I remember we done it a many moons ago when I got my last ST.

That’s brilliant from York. Suppose 10 months is the season isn’t it.

Klarna would be fine, 3 months, job done.

I think I’m right in saying that the emergency services discount isn’t as much as before.

I swear my season ticket last year was £190, and this year £262. Obviously there is a 5% at the top end, but that doesn’t equate down at the bottom end. However, my maths is awful, so I’m sure someone could correct me.

Like I say, all three are available for purchase on my account. But if I buy all three, how do the other two load them on to their own new account?
If the others have set up accounts with the SUFC ticketing provider, are you able to assign the available seasons tickets on your account to them (you may need their name, DOB and account reference number to link them as your family & friends)?

This is how the ticketing worked for the away game at Forest Green Rovers and the play-off final; if you had family & friends linked to your account, you could purchase the tickets on their behalf. Obviously the amount to purchase is much higher in this instance, but it would mean the tickets were under the correct account name (and then in future seasons they would be able to purchase their season tickets, and others, themselves).

£250 last years for emergency services/ Armed forces & veterans season tickets.

It's a joke that that over 62s get them half price. Surely it would be better if they paid more and bought the adult price down makes no sense
I think you will find that every club in the National League has a similar process (reduction for supporters over a certain age). That is also the process in the Football League. Before the supporters reach 62, they pay full price.

Still doesn't make any sense does it. Is my money somehow worth less then there's?

York’s payment plan costs 6.25% more than buying it up front.

That is not a good deal for people already struggling to afford the initial price when you can purchase it cheaper with a 0% interest credit card offer and earn up to 8% by paying into a regular saver account.

I for one am pleased that the club isn’t promoting payment schemes which rip off fans when there are methods that can achieve the same outcome for less money whilst earning you money.
