Shareholders

FVW has been around the football club for a considerable time now. As such he must know more about the real situation than most. If it is true that he has coughed up the £500k and he has offered to buy the club then I would be heartened by it as it would mean more than 1 person has real vested interest in turning the business around.
I just hope this is not just spurious rumour-mongering
Broadly speaking, just a little under 70,000.

South Eastern Leisure (Ron Martin) hold over 70% with approx 479,000.

There are only 5 other shareholders with over 2% holdings (in decreasing order):

David Markscheffel (director)
Peter Butler
John Bridge (ex director)
John Bath
Ian Bridge

Frank Van Wezel, although a director for 20 years (and some previously) holds less shares than both you and I.

There are close to 1500 shareholders with a vast number of them holding just 20 shares (0.003%).

ian bridge and John bath are fans. I used to sit near Soapy a few years back.

Andrew MacHutchon - I guess from the Anton Johnson days?

Martin Dawn even have 40 shares.

Former directors Ian and John Bridge who owned Supreme Coaches.

Westminster Press.... do they own the Echo and Standard?

Ron’s son Jack Martin?

A few other local businessmen? - HW Stone and HP Garon?

but no Ron .... just SEL.

I am having flashbacks to early 80s Essex Radio adverts.

It would have been nice to see the Rosehill brothers on the list as well.

So in short unless anyone can get Mr Markscheffel on board to lead a mutiny in the boardroom, an EGM isn't going to happen.

I presume a typo on line 1077 of the list above as well. Linda Beverley Pritchard listed as having a 9.04% stake with only 20 shares?...If not has anyone got her phone number! :Hilarious:

Markscheffel wouldnt do anything to rock the boat where RM is concerned, last I knew he just sits at his side now and just nods in agreement, don’t even think his put any money in for years now, i used to manage markscheffels bikes warehouses years ago in Rayleigh and Basildon but got out just b4 he sold up thank god, a very silent director at the club now.

Nice, I was at Rayleigh when we had four units I think, then we moved and had our own building built on the festival leisure site where I was warehouse manager and that still wasn’t big enough:Thumbs up:
