Simon Jordan Expects

In an interview with Sky Sports, Simon Jordan said something along the lines of him expecting Peter Taylor to commit to the club fully and not be distracted... Surely this would mean Taylor stepping down from his post as England U21 Manager?

Tilson must be amongst the favourites for the position, unless the FA opt to bring someone like Venables into the role.

I understood it to mean being "not distracted" by the job while still remaining in it. In the interview that I heard, Simon Jordan said that he sees Taylor's international role as offering access to some of the country's best up and coming players and their managers, something that would benefit Palace.

We've already seen with Simon Francis how that can work out.
