A Little Good News....
Good to hear Simon Francis has signed the 3 year deal as he certainly played well during the second half of the season after being left out of the side. He has the ability to influence our success at this level and after promotion.
Darryl seems likely to go and like Gower he would go with good wishes from most supporters although he did not seem as sharp as previous seasons to me last time out. The lack of height and reach did begin to tell and we seem to have bought a very capable replacement.
Mark Gower will be missed although when he was on song he was great, there were times when he simply did not show! Cannot blame him or Darryl, if he goes, for getting a last big payday as they both have been great servants. Can't help
thinking though that if we had Gower in contract we could have got at least Ā£150k for him. Blackpool are looking to spend about this amount to get a player after failing to land Mark.
Has Mulgrew signed for Swindon? Is Huckerby still available?
The front boys will need service, Furlong is fearless in the box but needs service as do Barney and Walker.
Bailey still worries me as it seems, quite rightly, a number of clubs are after him. I hope that Francis signing may kick him into action!
The new kit, don't like it much, looks a mess ~ probably still buy it though!
