Songs with the song title in the first line

Doesn't that start with "i see a red door"
It's in the first line so it doesn't matter.

HOWEVER

The title of the song is never actually sung, all the way through the song it is actually sung as 'painted black'.

'I see a red door and I want it painted black'
'I see a line of cars and they're all painted black'
'I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black'

So on that basis it can be disregarded from this list.

Yours,

Pedant, Thorpe Bay

No.Can't have Melanie Sorry :guns:

I rode my bicycle past your window last night. Is the first line of the song.

Or The Wurzels ...

I drove my tractor through your haystack last night.

Or Bobby Vee...

My tears are fallin' 'cause you've taken her away

Now go and sit in the corner :)

Yes, you're right. It's the same with the Wurzels.

The real reason I posted that was that I needed to bring The Wurzels back into everyone's consciousness.;)

Are you googling each and every post on here to monitor for accuracy?

Can you confirm my other three are accurate. 50% is surely a 'C' pass.

Ahem. You may have a 50% pass now as you have added 2 more to your original post ..But at first you had a 75% fail :thump::)

You were obviously far tooquick, as I edited immediately after the first post. At no stage did you post "Stop writing, and put your pens down"

Please dont make a habit of these errors in future ..:hilarious:

Though this is probably incorrect too. Please check for me, Cricko.

So, so wrong. It starts

Now here's a little story
To tell it is a must
About an unsung hero
That moves away your dust.

Some people make a fortune,
Others earn a mint;
My old man don't earn much:
In fact he's flippin' skint.

Oh, my old man's a dustman..
