Well played indeed to the person who found 2 minutes of highlights !

Good save by Oxley, and a great cheer from those thinking that first half shot had gone in rather than hitting the side netting.

Couple of things to be pleased about after watching that.. First, what a great ball from Cox into Fortune for the goal. He's a class above and if the team can play in a way which suits him, we'll climb the table sharpish.
Also, a very good save from Oxley and what also caught my attention was him having a real go at his defenders afterwards to get organised - presumably the Oxford goal still rankles with him - and to me that shows a keeper with confidence in himself, to take his defenders to task. Good to see with a couple of good displays after what can only be described as an inauspicious start to his time with us.

😂😂😂😂😂😂They've definitely edited the noise when we score!! What a finish though. That was a very good save from Oxley as well. Those must have been the only highlights as judging on the radio commentary which admittedly is usually poor it seemed nothing was happening

They were THE only things that happened, in truth.

On the Oxley point about the short corner, we remarked on this at the time and it needed about three or four shouts from him for anyone to take note.

Nice to see Oxley has noticed our switching off at corners... see 1.06!

Indeed he did. For those that weren't there, even after Oxley had screamed at the whole team, Orient still managed to jog over and take an easy short corner.

The same thing happened on Saturday on at least 3 occasions. You would expect to have a set plan for defending short corners on both sides.

Especially after we conceded from one the other day. I know it was after a contentious decision but still....

You can see in that video that he's doing his nut and not one of our defenders is even looking at him. Sloppy and better sides will punish us

Apart from the stuff with the 4th official and the board! :hilarious:

Yes, that was top drawer stuff.

It woke a lot of people up, sitting near me, who were snuggled nicely under their tartan blankets!

You mean he should start at Rochdale. But it's only 50/50 Phil Brown starts Mooney up front on his own.

No, I genuinely think he will start. The brief cameo on Saturday followed by the 90 mins against Orient showed that our defenders can hoof or ping the ball up field and provided they can find his chest or head he will control the ball and play others in. Mooney has many talents but controlling a head high ball at speed does not feature highly. If we play with one up front, then Fortune's the man.
