On a slightly different tack to the "if we had beaten Barnsley" debate above, when visiting Lincoln Shrimp recently he pointed out the new Lincoln City training facility on the outskirts of the city, and costing about £1.3 million. On BBC tv on Saturday it was claimed that the funding came from Lincoln's famous F A cup run two seasons back. How wistfully Ron must have been looking on at the Hall on Saturday afternoon as the dream slipped away for yet another year! But never mind, we've got the other Cup tonight.........oh, hang on, we are away at Luton.........perhaps not get too excited.
