Southend Cricket Festival 2009

I will probably go along to the Sunday game. I didn't go but my Dad said the Championship game last year was awfully dull and windy.

There's been a load of work done over at Garons during the winter and by all accounts its starting to look like a nice little venue over there

I will certainly be going to the Sunday match as i've never missed one since my first one back in 1977, hopefully i'll be able to make a couple of days of Championship cricket too

lots of work being done yes, but when we played our last game there this season, still a lot of work to do.

Pitch likely to be very green, as there was no sign of one when i last saw it!
