I buy the printed version once or twice a week and last week both editions carried news on W.... HAM among the sports pages. They used to do this a few years ago until thankfully it went back to reporting the activities only of Shrimpers together with bits of news about Concord Rangers, Billericay and Great Wakering Rovers. A local paper should report and highlight just on local issues not give free publicity to an organisation in East London. Is it time to stop buying this paper?

Chris Phillips, the Echo's head sports reporter is in the middle of a two week well earned holiday at the moment and he normally covered all local sports including the Shrimpers may explain it.

He is still covering Wimbedon Tennis for the Echo while on holiday.

The area has a lot of West Ham fans, I don't see a problem with it.
