Southend News Network

They have also been on Good Morning Britain and the London evening ITV news this week, promoting their Xmas song about the Dartford Tolls.

Oh the total and complete irony of social network sites like Facebook whinging about SNN. If readers are that ignorant that they can't work out truth from fiction then they deserve to be champions of the social network regimes.

I love the site and 'CR' is a genius! the problem is the moronity of so many people nowadays! the world is losing common sense!!!! the stories he posts are for anyone with half a brain cell quite clearly false and funny!

The site exposes the idiots of today who have no sense of humour or grip on reality, and for that I say I hope they keep to post the very amusing stories they do.

I like this site, and follow a number of similar spoof publications, but I do find him very hit and miss with the humour. The first song was a work of absolute genius, and I played it to loads of people with even a vague connection to the area who thought the same. The new song, in my humble opinion, is poor though and lacking any of the wry, well thought out affectionate humour of the first, which is a real shame.

Of course the stories are spoof, and some of them are funny - my mate tagged me on facebook with the 'Somali Pirates take over Southend Pier' story, which prompted his Mum to respond with the classic line "Is this true Graham?".

What?? I thought the stories on SNN were all genuine!

They started a fake story and petition about A&E closing.......the irony is that plans are now well underway to centralise blue light ambulances to Basildon....and have minimum A&E services in Southend.
