Breaking News Southend sign Brooklyn Kabongolo

I'm interested to see where he plays in the back 3. Taylor has been brilliant there, Kensdale has made that middle spot his own and Ralph was superb before his injury.

I know the logical thing is for Taylor to go back to CDM and Kensdale to go across to RCB with Brooklyn to go into the middle with his height. However, I think a subs bench spot will be where he spends most of his time if the embargo is lifted.
Personally would like to see him alongside Taylor and Kensdale for the time being and keep Miley in midfielder with JD back to the bench.

Fairly brutal as far as these things go. Guess he's cheesed off at losing a player overnight - can't blame him for that. None of our current players were the finished article when we signed them - our management team is capable of bringing players on so hopefully Brooklyn will follow on in that mould.

Kev also said he's one for them to mould - probably abit politically correct way to put it. He sounds like a gamble, but why not - not every signing is going to come off and only time will tell if Brooks will develop - be interesting if they're thinking of him as a longer term replacement for say Ralph rather than a player that might be making an impression this season

What's the point of planning long term? It's all over tomorrow!!!

😉

...or is it???
