Answering my own question. No Preston did not play against us earlier this season nor was he on the bench. Wonder whether Ruby knows him from Barnet days?

Yes Preston played very well yesterday but don't forget Robinson looked really good in the FA cup for Lincoln. They can be one off games for some players. West Ham were awful too!

I'm sure our new management team and recruitment personal would scout him for the necessary period before deciding on a player like him. That's something that didn't seem to happen in the past.

Spoke to my contact this morning who tells me Sagaf coming to us is definitely a possibility. Will Wright, who has been getting interest from higher up the pyramid, looks unlikely. As people have mentioned above, Sagaf is out of contract in the summer, so Daggers are open to discussions for an immediate switch. Watch this space (hopefully!).
