Official Match Thread Southend United v Walsall

Still 9 games and alot of points to play for! We got lucky on the last day against Sunderland maybe we can get lucky again!!

Love the optimism Shrimpet. Let's start by shoving Harrogate's 4-0 back in their faces. Goals for Olayinka, Dieng, White and RHF. Even if we do go down I'd love to get retribution for that opening game - where's your newly promoted adrenaline rush now, Yorkies? Stuff that up your spa.

Definitely with u on this! Would love to get one over on them for that opening day defeat!

MM reminds me of Dominic Cummongs - so arrogant and convinced hes right that he can't see that he has made a complete and utter mess....

I never ever imagined losing our league status ... never. Being bottom of the league was for sh=te clubs like Workington or Barrow or Rochdale - not for a well supported club like SUFC,

I could not ave imagined this happening - a club that can take 35k to Wembley -

Rage or tears ?

At least sack the clowns in charge ...
It’s only your opinion that Dominic Cummings wasn’t right?

Well this doesn't have much to do with Southend United but Dominic Cummings certainly wasn't right to drive 400 miles to Durham or to drive to Barnard Castle to "test his eyesight". He singlehandedly broke the national consensus on staying at home in the lockdown. His statement in the rose garden showed his contempt for everybody else obeying the government's instructions.

The signings of Macca and Ranger suggest he has some influence...

obviously

and if you are really weak useless manager you let the chairman run recruitment and influence team selection...

for me this shows how terrible this manager and crew are...

utterly useless

well put - i can't watch MM speak or bear to see him at pitchside ...

for me his very presence shows contempt for this club and its supporters -

How dare he even call himself the manager of SUFC ... how dare he have the same title as Arthur Rowley, Dave Webb or Steve Tilson.

Should our players dig us ot of this hole (please please please) this idiot should be deleted from the history books ...

the man who leds us to 91st in the EFL ... just like a bad one night stand - forget it ever happened

He wasn't visiting the castle he was visiting the GlaxoSmithKlien works next door. Thats why he knew he couldn't be sacked. The MSM knew the truth, they always do but they also know it would be more fun and milage in the "cover" story.
