Hi Guys!

Not sure if you're aware but Southend United are running Walking Football sessions for those aged 50+. Anyone interested?

You can just turn up and only cost £2.50 a session.

The sessions are open to both men and women and are a good way to dust off those cobwebs.

If you are interested then feel free to contact myself at the club.

The irony of inventing a sport so people who are excluded can play, and then excluding people.

Cant believe Im 5 years from being eligible:stunned:

Here in rural France we had a client in last week and lives and plays for Chelmsford and he was raving about it and saying people drive miles to play so well done April.

6-7 on a Monday !

I assume it is aimed at those who are not only unfit to run, but also unfit to work

Great idea to get people involved , just have to wait until I have retired to consider it.......

haha thanks for your interest guys!

We are looking at doing some sessions later on in the evening but haven't decided a start date yet.

People under the age of 50 are more than welcome to come along but they just cant compete in any tournaments.

But should be ashamed of themselves
