Southend United's Elliot Benyon fighting fit for new season

Evening Echo

The News
Jun 14, 2011
SOUTHEND United striker Elliot Benyon believes he is already fitter now than he was at any stage of last season.

Elliot Benyon said:
“I’m confident I can score goals in this league again, all I need is the games,” said Benyon. “If I get them then I really do believe I could be the key to our season this year. "

Not sure I can see that after 3 goals in 42 but you have to admire the confidence. Good luck fella.
If he could get near the goals too games ratio he enjoyed at Torquay a couple of years ago he would certainly be a key player for us this season.
