TV Highlights Southend Utd 2-2 Altrincham FC

A closer look at that double tackle on Mooney looks just as bad as when I saw it live on Saturday. And as for the Blondie/Kacper **** up, I reckon both of them should have done better. All in all, if we hadn't gifted them both their goals then we would be feeling a lot better today with all 3 points.

I agree that tackle looks absolutely horrific and how neither of them got booked is beyond me (at least I don't think they did).

As for their gift of a goal - for me Lopata is more at fault as he probably should have passed it back to Bloody initially . Once he left it Blondy didn't have space to kick it anywhere as Lopata was by then in the way.

Yes, having seen this I don't blame Blondie for either goal. Lopata should definitely have passed the ball back to him. Immediately after the incident Lopata seemed to complain to the ref that he'd been fouled....... by Blondie!

Should have been a double red card for the tackle on Mooney. Excessive force from both players, the rulebook is quite clear on it.

No, the only bookings were for those in a blue shirt. We won that 4-0, just shows how one sided that ref was.

We didn't even get a free kick for it. Once again our dark arts skills go against us. Should have made much more of a point to the referee. If you go far enough you can even get goals ruled out.

After reading the accusations against Blondie on here I nearly booked a visit to spec savers. Turns out it was Kacpers fault. Yes there was an initial gentlemen's excuse me but it was KL not doing one thing or the other that caused it.

I was equally disappointed with the first goal. Taylor had stopped for a light rather than spot the unmarked red shirt.

Ref was not going to give the clear handball but luckily Jack was there to score. No surprise when Mooney gets scissored and he doesn't blow up. Another long term and possible season ruining injury missed by the man in black.

I felt their 2nd goal was Lopata’s fault at the time, and seeing the replay just confirms my view - either pass it back or get out of the way. My issue isn’t with Lopata himself who has been excellent, but rather that he appears to be beyond criticism by some on here.

I also felt that the tackle on Mooney wasn’t a foul - how wrong I was, terrible challenge.

Definitely Lopata’s fault, first of all should have either passed it back or cleared it and then he got in his way….as for showing off afterwards, gone down in my estimation.
For what it’s worth thought Blondy was doing well, better size than Collin, better distribution than Collin and stood up well for a few saves…..Lopata needs to apologise!

Yeah agree with comments here, I missed it on the day as nature was calling, but did appear to be more of lopatas fault, be interesting to see how blondy gets on now as will have a run in the side, I personally don't think he seems that bad
