Southern Area Finalists Again!

lazy sods. Just wanted to read a match review, clearly too much to ask!

I think whatever happens if we get to the final we will have the smaller end! due to the fact Wrexham is already in wales and Oldham and Tranmere are bigger clubs"

I thought we had the larger end last year ?? as Blackpool where supposingly the bigger club but still had the smaller stand ??

Do they decide by predicted attendance for each club? We must average more than Wrexham, but surely the other two would (sadly) bring more fans than us? Ours would be the loudest and the best though.

Not really but I was one man tonight doing the report, interviews and everything else tonight. Like to see some people on here try who are so quick to mug everything off.

Didn't realise just how much running about you actually had to do until tonight, so I certainly won't be moaning about things like that from now on.

LDV Southern Area Final

Away leg 15.2.05

Home leg 08.3.05

Because Bristol Rovers were drawn out before us in the LDV SEMI Draw, they play at home in the first leg and then we are at home for the second leg.

I think those dates are right? I haven't checked!

The other reason given that we play away first, is that we won 2-0, whereas Bristol R. won 2-1. Either way leads to the same conclusion, but I think my previous post is the way it is decided and I got the info from a club source.

Club source?

Your right with the dates as can be found on the football league website, however it sounds a very strange way to decide who's at home/away first and I'd be extremely surprised if it was the second reason.

I'm still fairly sure its the normal draw on Sky Sports Soccer AM as it always is and was for the final last year.

as highlighted, I stated that my earlier post was how it is decided. It's pointless having a draw to decide who plays at home first, so the logical way to do it, is one of the first two drawn in the SF draw gets the home leg first in the area final.

They said on Soccer AM when they did the draw for the last round that that was their last draw until next season's competition.

I hope this is true, its always best to get the away leg out of the way first. Cue more scenes of delerium at RH ala C********r!.

Spiffing result from the chaps once more, we might as well all chip in for a place in Cardiff the amount of time we have spent and are going to spend there.
